SOAP opportunities...

SOAP are looking for…

….DANCERS and ACTORS….

…for a performance of Stravinsky’s ballet-opera Les Noces (The Wedding).

The performance will be on Wednesday 24^th November on the main stage at Manchester’s Contact, and will be the outcome of a project bringing together community volunteers with a young professional cast from the Royal Northern College of Music.

This is a chance to perform in a new interpretation of one of the twentieth century’s most exciting and rarely performed works in a professional venue. It is also chance to contribute your talents to an ambitious project aiming to break down barriers to opera, and give voice to the community of Salford.

What we need…

We would like you to perform in a short section of the piece that has been devised specifically for this special performance.

You will need to be able to commit to the following rehearsal and performance times:

• Tuesday 23^rd November, 6-9pm
• Wednesday 24^th November, 2pm – 5pm
• Performance 24^th November, 8pm
